Zodiac Signs: The Medium
This course is for you if you know your Sun sign (such as “I’m a Cancer”) but not much more, or you know a bit about the signs (“Sagitarius loves to travel”) but not the many different ways in which a sign can express itself, and don’t know much about signs other than your Sun sign.
At the beginning there were the zodiac signs. Everyone knows their Sun sign, and most people have a passing acquaintance with their Sun sign traits. Different Sun signs behave differently: the carrier of life energy, the Sun, is the same, but the sign it is in acts as a medium that modulates and informs its expression.
In this course you will dive deeper into the fundamental properties of each zodiac sign, and understand the purpose of grouping them into the fire-earth-air-water elements, and the cardinal-fixed-mutable modes. You will play cosmic detective and try to figure out which traits of some well-known public figures embody which signs. You will also begin to understand why certain zodiac signs appeal to you, others seem to rub you the wrong way, and yet others leave you cold. At the end of the course, you will be able to apply your knowledge of the zodiac signs to know exactly how the Sun sign drives a life.
Planets and Ephemeris: Energy of the Moment
This course is for you if you know a lot about signs equivalent to the material covered in the course Zodiac Signs: The Medium, but are not conversant with how the energies of planets are modulated by the sign they are in, or you don’t know what an ephemeris is and how to read it, or you know a good bit of all this, but you would love to review, and discuss in a group by applying to real situations under the guidance of an experienced mentor.
All astrology rests on a foundation of elemental data: the positions of planets in the signs. When you say your sign is Aries, what you are saying is that at the moment of your birth, the Sun was in the sign of Aries. But that’s not all of it, there is also the question of exactly where in Aries was the Sun? If you were born late March, it would be in the earlier part of Aries. Mid April would put it in the later part. This makes a difference when it comes to interpretation.
In this course, you will learn about the particular energies that each planet-Sun, Moon, and all the planets in our solar system-brings to your life, their orbital periods and what it means for the unfolding of your life, the concept of retrogradation, and notion of planets ruling signs. All this information will be gleaned from the ephemeris, which is a master data board that shows the exact position of each planet in a sign for each day of the calendar.
You will apply this knowledge to interpret the planetary sign positions for the date of birth for several public figures. Aspects: Planets in Dialogue
This course is for you if you have the requisite background equivalent to the material covered in the course Planets and Ephemeris: Energy of the Moment, and either don’t know what aspects are, or you know what they are but you are not comfortable intrepreting various aspects in a lineup of planetary positions at the moment of birth.
Aspects are perhaps the most important consideration when analyzing a horoscope in a holistic manner. You need a solid grounding in the various major and minor aspects to be be able to analyze how various energies in a person’s life dialogue with each other. This conversation between the planetary energies generate the internal push and pull that is the fabric of a rich and complex life.
This course is intended to give you this grounding with the help of several case studies so you can take your horoscope anaylsis skills to the next level. The Horoscope: Angles, Hemispheres, Houses
This course is for you if you want to get started with analyzing horoscope charts, having attained a good amount of practical experience in interpeting planet in signs and reading them off the ephemeris, equivalent to the material in the course Planets and Ephemeris: Energy of the Moment and in identifying and interpreting aspects in the ephemeris, equivalent to the material in the course Aspects: Planets in Dialogue. Now you want to take the next step and understand how a horoscope is cast for a birth moment, and how to interpret it in a holistic manner.
You can get some amount of insight into a person’s life by simply knowing their date of birth, which is easy to get. With just this information, you can get to know with fairly good accuracy the degree placements of all the planets in signs, except for the Moon, as well as the exact aspects between planets, again except for the Moon.
However, two people born on the same date may have very different horoscopes–which is the actual chart wheel that is drawn up–if they are born in different places at different times. In which case, the energies that drive their life direction and quality will be quite different. To really get to know a person in depth, you will need to draw up and interpret their horoscope, which requires knowing not only the date of birth, but the time and place of birth as well.
This course is where you begin to get really serious about understand a life through astrology. It is the first step toward setting up a professional practice, if you so desire. Or, you can add astrological intrepretation to your repertoire and use it to support your existing practice of helping people in the areas of mental and spiritual wellness.

Annual Forecast Using Transits
This course is for you if you are conversant with interpreting a natal chart, and want to learn how to forecast trends in a person’s life in the next year using transits of the planets to the natal chart.
People usually want to know what to expect in their life in the year ahead. The most reliable method to forecast trends for the coming year is to use transits of the planets to the natal chart. This course will show you how to do this by analyzing and interpreting the transits of the outer planets Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto for dramatic changes in the life, the transit of Saturn for the fructification of effort, the transit of Jupiter for the opening up of opportunities, and the transit of Mars for the precise timing of events. You will learn how to interpret transit hits to the angles as well as the Sun, Moon, and inner planets. An old dictum of astrology says that nothing happens in life that is not promised in the natal chart-you will understand how this informs the interpretation of transits in relation to the natal chart potential.
Cookbook descriptions of transits paint a narrow picture of their effects depending on the planets involved. However, real life is not that cooperative. The transit of a planet may have very different implications for a person, according to the differences in their natal chart, and also how they have built their life thus far. All the courses are group sessions, with at least 5 people in the group. This makes for lively discussion, recognition of different viewpoints and perspectives, and an understanding of the diverse ways in which the potential inherent in a horoscope can be realized in life

You can reserve a place in any course that has a posted date, up to 2 weeks before the start of the course. If the course gets at least 5 prospective attendees, it will be confirmed to run and you will get an email with payment information. Payment needs to be made within 1 week of the start of the course, otherwise you will lose your place. (A multi-session course starts at its first session.)
You can cancel your paid reservation any time until 24 hours before the start time of the course, and your payment will be refunded. Cancellations will not be possible after that. (You may not cancel a multi-session course between sessions.)
In case the course is cancelled in the 24 hour period before its start time due to unforeseen circumstances, your payment will be refunded.
Free Access to Lifespan
If you have booked a course that comes with free access to Lifespan, you will be set up for access within a 24 hour period before the start of the course. The free access will continue for 30 days past the end of the course, after which time you will no longer have access to Lifespan. During the course, we will work together on using Lifespan to explore horoscopes, and you will learn how to use it to do specific tasks.

The way it works is like this: we will enter into a dialogue over a series of consultations conducted over Zoom. Each consultation will explore your horoscope, and possibly those of others who might play a significant part in your circumstance. The first two consultations are both necessary; subsequent consultations are your choice.

We will get into the immediate circumstance that you are dealing with. We will assess the various layers of the issues of concern, and use astrology to open up alternate perspectives. This will give us a deeper understanding of what you are going through and all the factors in play, so we can figure out the best way to move forward. We will then look to the year ahead and see what kinds of opportunities might be coming up, what energies might be dominant, and how to make the most of them.
The first and second consultations work as a pair, so when you sign up for this service, you will do both consultations for $500. The second consultation will be scheduled within 2 weeks of the first.
